Choosing The Right
Videographer
For anyone who has not considered a videographer in the past, it would be prudent for
you to communicate with other couples who have had a wedding video done. Chances
are, the majority of them have never regretted hiring a videographer.

Here is a survey conducted by
WEVA which inquired as to general satisfaction with the
decision to have your wedding filmed professionally. This survey was taken from an
excellent wedding help source,
www.weddingdetails.com. This nationwide survey was
conducted in 2005.

*98 percent of newlyweds recommend brides have their wedding
videotaped.
*Brides don't appreciate the value of video until after the wedding: before
the wedding, 52 percent of brides consider video a "Top 10" service; after
the wedding,
75 percent of brides consider video a "Top 10" service.
*38 percent of brides did not have their wedding videotaped by anyone.
*68 percent now either somewhat or
strongly recommend that future
brides hire a professional videographer.
*98 percent of brides surveyed used the services of a professional
photographer.
*29 percent of brides surveyed used the services of a professional
videographer.
Those who used both agreed that
video does a better job of
1) capturing the emotions of the day
2) recording the history of the day
3) creating a visual memory that future children will enjoy more.
When asked, "If you had a choice between looking at your grandparent's
wedding photos or their wedding video, which would you choose?" 61
percent of brides said they would rather see the video.

A wedding video can recreate the events of this special day as they
happened, whereas photographs tend to paint a certain "biased" picture in
and of themselves. The subtleties of the day are captured by the video
camera far more than the photographer's lens-the knowing winks during
the ceremony, a firm hand squeeze before you enter the reception
hall-these are the moments you are likely to forget due to the hectic nature
of the day.

The average wedding in the United States costs around $25,000. The
reluctance to choose video for most is that their budget simply cannot allow
for it. We urge you to compare our prices with the quality of work we offer,
and then compare that to competitors'.

We are confident that you will not regret your decision to choose the Eastty
Production Company.
